There are two kinds of waste hydrochloric acid production processes in the world, spray roasting method and fluidized bed method. The disadvantage of the spray roasting method is that the by-product is micron-sized red iron oxide powder, which is easy to scatter and has serious secondary dust pollution. Relatively speaking, the by-product of the fluidized bed method is millimeter-scale iron balls, and there is no secondary pollution problem.

The fluidized bed method is as follows: first, the waste hydrochloric acid is sent to the waste acid storage tank by a pump, and reaches the pre-concentrator, where a part of the waste acid is vaporized by the furnace gas of the roaster; The acid liquid is continuously concentrated and enriched with iron oxide. The acid liquid flowing out from the pre-concentrator is introduced into the fluidized bed in the roasting furnace through a batching device. The temperature in the furnace is about 850 degrees Celsius. At high temperature, water is evaporated and chlorinated. Iron is decomposed into hydrogen oxide by heating; the particle iron oxide in the fluidized bed gradually increases and becomes larger, and the height of the oxide sphere layer in the fluidized bed increases continuously, so that the resistance to the air blown by the blower also increases. When the pressure increases to a certain value, the excess iron oxide is discharged through an impeller gate, and the discharge process is carried out until the air pressure in the lower part of the fluidized bed drops to the required value; the finer iron oxide powder is carried out by the roasting exhaust gas, into the cyclone. The fine iron oxide powder separated from the dust collector is returned to the fluidized bed, which is wetted by the acid and gradually thickened. In the cyclone dust collector, it exchanges heat with the acid liquid and releases heat to reduce the air temperature; the roaster gas containing hydrogen chloride enters the absorption tower after passing through the pre-concentrator, and contacts with the flushing water sprayed from the tower, and the hydrogen chloride is absorbed by the water to form Regenerate acid. The exhaust gas after being absorbed by the flushing water is discharged into the atmosphere through the chimney.
